    Brandywine Realty Trust, a premier commercial Class A full service real estate company with operations nationwide, has an immediate opening for a full-time Vice President of Investments in our corporate headquarters located in Philadelphia, PA. The role has the primary responsibility for working within a small investments group and reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Investments. The successful candidate will need to be highly proficient in sourcing acquisition and structured finance opportunities while displaying excellent financial/underwritten acumen. This position also requires the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external professionals across all levels. The ideal candidate should be creative, inquisitive, goal-oriented with a high energy level and have an ability to work well under pressure.

    Responsibilities

    • Source and underwrite property acquisitions, structured finance transactions and other investment opportunities.
    • Direct the creation of investment analyses, memos and presentations for Board of Trustees, investment committee and internal transaction team.
    • Facilitate and direct the creation of various financial analyses on an as-needed basis.
    • Manage all facets of the real estate transaction process.
    • Conduct property tours with investors, brokers, etc.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related field is required.
    • MBA or Masters in Finance, Real Estate, or related field is a strong plus.
    • Minimum of 12 to 15 years of working experience in real estate investments or lending industry.
    • Ability to review and analyze a variety of investment opportunities.
    • Review underwriting analyses and interpret results.
    • Excellent management, communication and presentation skills.
    • Resourceful in obtaining market and transaction intelligence.
    • Ability to multi-task various assignments and prioritize.
