    We are currently seeking an experienced and eager Property Accounting Manager for our Corporate Headquarters in Philadelphia.


    • Responsible for interaction with property managers, leasing agents, and corporate accounting.
    • Management and oversight of Portfolio Accountant(s)
    • Assist property managers with any accounting and lease administration questions.
    • Review lease profiles and lease documentation. Assist in entering leases into MRI, as needed.
    • Process all move-ins/outs and calculate new CAM estimates and final CAM reconciliations.
    • Review, research and resolve all tenant account issues. Approve adjustments to tenant’s accounts.
    • Interact with tenants to resolve any AR issues, including collections, with assistance from property management, as necessary.
    • Communicate with property management and legal counsel on outstanding AR issues.
    • Review general ledger to ensure accuracy of coding.
    • Calculate and post month end accruals, prepaid re-classes, and journal entries.
    • Reconcile intercompany transactions and wire funds as needed.
    • Prepare various monthly tenant billings.
    • Prepare Monthly Package for portfolio which includes providing explanations for actual vs. forecast. Present monthly results to management.
    • Communicate to property managers concerns/questions relating to the property income statements.
    • Update corporate accounting balance sheet schedules.
    • Monthly review of all outstanding account receivable and oversee sending out Late or Default Letters to any tenants with balances.
    • Review reoccurring charges for all tenants to ensure charges are posting correctly.
    • Review rent rolls to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Responsible for monthly AR reports.
    • Process any final CAM Reconciliations and Security Deposit Refunds.
    • Bank reconciliations.
    • Assist with year-end procedures and audits


    • B.S. degree in Accounting
    • 4-7 years of relevant commercial real estate experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, specifically in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with accounting software (such as MRI) preferred.
