With significant direction from the Property Manager and/or others, the Assistant Property Manager is accountable for supporting effective administration of policies and procedures that promote well-managed, well-maintained buildings and grounds at either Company-owned or third-party commercial properties.  Incumbents exercise independent judgment and discretion within the framework of Company policies and procedures, management directives, budget parameters, regulatory mandates, and, when appropriate, third-party guidelines.  The overriding management objective toward which incumbents direct all endeavors is the achievement of maximum return on investment-grade, commercial real estate assets.


  • Oversee or assist in the oversight of day-to-day operational management of buildings and grounds consistent with Brandywine Realty Trust policies and procedures, approved budgets and business plans, management direction, and – if required – third-party owner guidelines. 
  • Participate in the creation of property business plans and annual operating budgets.  Upon approval, these become the basis for day-to-day decision-making and activities.
  • Support or manage tenant-focused relationship programs and processes that meet or exceed building occupant expectations.  Consistent with expense parameters, anticipate tenant needs, assure positive and prompt response to service requests, and administer affairs at operating levels for the mutual benefit of the tenants and property NOI.
  • Gather, analyze, and report statistical and financial data required to provide accurate assessments of property performance and support decision-making.
  • Assist with administration of tenant leases in compliance with document provisions.  Determine escalation amounts.

  • Any other reasonable work related responsibilities assigned by the Property Manager.
  • Occassional service calls after hours occur.
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager.
  • Provide various administrative support regarding tenant services
  • Serve as a contact in tenant, technician, vendor and building-related matters.
  • Organize and maintain all related vendor, tenant and corporate files.
  • Oversee all aspects of building-related invoicing processes, including related tenant and vendor records.
  • Schedule and organize building services and activities such as fire drills, cleaning services and tenant events.


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years commercial real estate property management preferred.
  • Current, valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance required.
    Must have a “team player attitude”.  Positive, outgoing, customer service orientation a must.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with professional courtesy and tact among tenants, contractors and individuals at all levels of our organization.
  • Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft programs, Outlook and website navigation.
  • Upon hiring, candidate would be required to work toward obtaining a designation in the related field i.e., RPA or CPM certification.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels within the Company.
